Grilled Chicken Wings - A Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings Recipe


Grilled Chicken Wings are very easy to make. The best part is that there are no fixed ingredients (Well, except the wings). You can add whatever you like in the marinade. Make it as hot or mild as you like.

The combined flavors of the marinade make these wings delicious.They are somewhat like Buffalo wings but not deep fried. A good appetizer recipe.



To make these easy chicken wings you will need

  • 1 kg chicken wings
For the marinade
  • 1 Tbsp Chinese 5 spice powder
  • 2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp chili bean sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • ½ Tsp chili powder (to taste)
  • ½ Tsp Tabasco sauce(to taste)
  • Salt if required (all the sauces have a high salt content)
  • In a Big Bowl place the chicken wings. Add all the marinade ingredients. Get your hands dirty. Mix everything well. Marinate the chicken wings for a good 6-8 hours.

    Preheat the oven at 200°C. Place all the wings on a baking tray. Bake for half an hour. Turning and basting in between. For the last 5 minutes place under the grill.

    Ready! Eat them hot. Enjoy!!

    You can also barbecue these wings, on a hot summer day. Good for a picnic.

    or

    Cook them on a stove. Heat a griddle and place a few wings at a time. Cook till done.
